Kids all over Dickinson County will be able to receive free lunches and breakfasts all during the summer. Itâ??s part of a program called â??Meet Up and Eat Upâ??. The Breitung Township schools are coordinating the program offered Monday through Friday in the summer. The YMCA in Iron Mountain is one location where the food is served free of charge for any child. The public is also welcome to join; people ages 18 and up will be required to pay $2.75 for a lunch.
â??We are a site location, so they bring the food to us,â?? said YMCA staff member, Kelly Poupore. â??The public is welcome and it also benefits our summer day campers.â??
