      Fuel funds available through AMCAAB

      More good news for a select few residents in Alger and Marquette counties about your fuel costs.

      The Alger-Marquette Community Action Board has state funding available to reimburse low- income eligible households for any deliverable fuel costs.

      Home-heating deliverable fuels bills received between January 1 and March 31 of 2014 will be considered for reimbursement.

      Deliverable fuels include propane, coal, fuel oil, wood pellets, and wood.

      AMCAAB encourages people to first call their office to find out your eligibility.

      The householdâ??s gross income must fall within the following ranges on the date of the application:

      Household Size 30-Day Household Income

      1 $1,459-$1,907

      2 $1,966-$2,494

      3 $2,474-$3,081

      4 $2,981-$3,668

      5 $3,489-$4,254

      6 $3,996-$4,841

      7 $4,504-$4,951

      8 $5,011-$5,061

      Those households determined to be income eligible, must present proof of delivery and payment from a registered business that sells deliverable fuels.
