For parents in search of a unique way to spend time with their children, the Upper Peninsula Childrenâ??s Museum invites you to their weekly playgroup on Thursday mornings from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Museum employees will have fun activities for families aimed at working together, strengthening relationships and building powerful parenting techniques.
"We are doing activities from cooking in the kitchen to feeding the animals to sing-alongâ??s with guitar," said Sole Swiston, a floor facilitator at the museum. "Just all kinds of fun things."
Museum employees hope the activities will help parents build stronger bonds with their children. The program is $15 a month. To register call the museum at 226-3911.
