The Marquette Beautification and Restoration Committee is preparing for its annual garden tour.
This is the 19th year the group has featured people's backyard gardens. All six gardens are in Harvey this year and tickets are $10. The tour is the committee's largest fundraiser of the year.
"People can see what maybe they can do in their yards to improve their gardens or maybe they love to look at all of the beautiful flowers people have planted in their gardens," said Emily Lewis, President of the Marquette Beautification ad Restoration Committee.
The garden tour is Thursday from 1 to 7 p.m. The Marquette Beautification and Restoration Committee is the all volunteer group responsible for the flowers in South Marquette which cost roughly $30,000.
