      Gas prices gain for a second week

      Triple A of Michigan reports that gas prices are up for the second week.

      The Michigan statewide average is $3.60 a gallon. This is up more than seven cents from a week ago. Compared to last year at this time the price is up six cents.

      The lowest regional report in Michigan is Detroit at $3.55, with the Jackson area reporting the highest average at $3.63. The Marquette regional report, averaging all of the Upper Peninsula gas stations, is $3.58. This is about the same as last week and down 13 cents from a year ago. Individual gas stations will have higher or lower prices.
