Over 300,000 kids across the nation went home with a better and brighter smile Friday. It's all thanks to national Give Kids a Smile Day put on by The American Dental Association.
The day aims to encourage better dental health starting at a young age. Anyone 18 and younger could come.
"I had my teeth cleaned," said Jacob Patterson, 10. "I had mint flavored flouride; it tasted really good and I had no cavities as well."
This year, 9,102 dentists, including Northern Trails Dental in Gwinn, participated.
