Golf fundraiser planned for Upper Michigan school

The Bishop Baraga Catholic School in Iron Mountain is planning their largest fundraiser of the year, which is coming up this Friday.

The school is planning their annual golf outing fundraiser to raise money for continuing educational improvements. The outing has different sponsor levels, and golfers can win cash prizes.

"We're going to use the funds for professional development with the teachers, and also just for the general funds for the school," said Bishop Baraga Principal Adam Husing. "Most of the teams are community members, so it has been very nice to see people come out and support the school."

The event is taking place this Friday, June 7, and the school is looking forward to a very full and fun event.
