The Greywalls golf course in Marquette was packed Thursday as golfers came out to support kids from Bay Cliff Health Camp.
It's the seventh annual Bay Cliff Golf Outing. Players enjoyed refreshments and food before hitting the course. Tee time promptly started at 12:30 p.m. with a shotgun start. Kids from the camp met personally with many of the players and had their pictures taken.
"You know it's a great event because it supports Bay Cliff; all the kids that are up there. The things that they are able to do and learn when they're up there, and it's a wonderful time for them. It's a wonderful part of the community, and I think a lot of people support it, so everyone's out here to have fun," said Golf Committee Member, Nicole Burony.
"To see all these people here, it's very nice to know that they're here to raise enough money for us," added Bay Cliff camper, Seth Ventimiglia.
They hoped to raise more than $20,000 for Bay Cliff.
