Goodwill to Humanity, a double donation drive

Goodwill and Habitat for Humanity are joining together, and they need your help.

If you live in the Copper Country, the non-profit organizations are having a donation drive this Saturday. The organizations say now is a good time for donations because many people are starting their spring cleaning, and Goodwill and Habitat for Humanity are more than willing to accept reusable items.

"We're looking for anything from appliances to furniture," said ReStore Manager Joseph Mihal. "We'll also accept clothing, building supplies, home furnishings, and anything that people think is in good shape and reusable; we are asking that they bring that in."

All donations are tax deductible. If you'd like to participate in the donation drive, the drop-off location is at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore, in Calumet, this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
