Guilty plea for man facing meth charges

An Ishpeming man facing methamphetamine charges has pled guilty by reason of mental illness.

Thirty-one-year-old Todd Raymond Wentworth pled guilty to conspiracy to maintain a meth lab. Other charges against him were dropped as a result of the guilty plea.

Wentworth has at least three previous felonies on his record. He was wanted by Ishpeming police in January on a warrant and was considered armed and dangerous during a three-day search.

Sentencing is set for August 28.
