Gwinn Inn helps Forsyth Fire Department

The Gwinn Inn will be holding an all day jam fundraiser Saturday to raise money for the Forsyth Township Fire Department.

The owners of the Gwinn Inn hope to pack the place on with ten local bands playing from 1 p.m.until close.

The Inn will be holding bucket raffles and silent auctions throughout the day with all proceeds going to the firefighters. The Marquette band "Stranded" has also played an important role in organizing the event. They've been recruiting other musicians to come out and play for the good cause. This is the first time the Inn has done something like this. For the owners,it's all about giving back.

"We wanted to give something back to our community and firefighters are a real important part of the community, and they can always use money for new equipment and those help save lives," said Gwinn Inn owner, Paul Reynolds.

The event is free and all are welcome to attend. The Inn just asks you donate a little money for the cause.
