The Michigan State Police say that after a year-long investigation they have arrested a 46-year-old Gwinn man allegedly involved in a string of break-ins.
According to police, Phillip Lanaville was arraigned on 21 felony counts in Delta County District Court on Wednesday. Police say that the breaking and entering incidents related to this case took place from May to November in 2012.
The MSP stated that firearms, money, and jewelry were stolen during the alleged break-ins. Lanaville was originally taken in to custody in August by the State Police Fugitive Team on unrelated charges.
Police say that a conviction could lead to a lengthy prison sentence for the Gwinn man.
