      Head-to-head on cardboard sleds

Saturday, dozens of teams took to the ski hill for a big sled race.

But they weren't just any sleds. The Boy and Girl Scouts made them by hand out of cardboard.

Over 60 teams competed in Saturday??s Pere Marquette Cardboard Classic, the highest number ever. Teams raced two at a time; first to hit the bottom wins.

"I hope it goes really, really fast," said Autumn Uren, eight, about her team's sled. "And I hope it beats the boys or else we have to deal with them for a month."

There was no actual prize for winning, just pride.
