On Christmas, Santa wasn??t the only one working overtime.
The First Presbyterian Church in Kingsford along with a large team of volunteers worked tirelessly for a wish many take for granted... a hot meal.
"This will be the 19th year that we're doing this," explains head cook Rich Sgarlotti. "The first year we served 250 meals?| this year we'll be serving about 750."
Over 100 volunteers began the preparations on Christmas Eve for over 700 families -- half of them being delivered to residents' homes.
"It??s special and it gives you the Christmas spirit," says volunteer Bill Stephenson.
Dinners included desserts, dinner rolls, and, for the first one hundred people, a poinsettia and homemade Christmas card.
Despite lacking a magical sleigh, the high number of volunteers split up the 1400 miles of traveling and completed all the deliveries in a little over an hour.
