Pioneer Days is a time for high school reunions in Negaunee, and the class of 1937 is celebrating its 75th reunion.
Seven members of the class of 1937 came to the Negaunee Senior Citizens Center to enjoy some good food and reminisce of their days at Negaunee High School. The same seven people came last year.
Richard Wills contacts the remaining members of the class of 1937 months in advance to try and get more to come each year, but of the 118 member class, only 18 are still alive and many are unable to drive or travel.
"This is a pretty good turnout," said Wills. "We have a lot of fun and reminisce. It's really an enjoyable time."
The seven members of the class of 1937 hope to return again next year.
