While some of us are sad it's almost fall, those embracing the season change headed to Baraga State Park to celebrate. Saturday was the eighth year the state park held Harvest Halloween Fest.Because the park is closed before Halloween, it becomes the theme of the event. Families get really into the theme with many decorating their campers.Festivities included costumes, candy, and contests."Kids get to go trick or treating and they have games," said Suzette Mihelich, a camper from the Keweenaw.Park employees say the event keeps getting larger, and this year they sold out all of their campsites.
