Rain didn't damper the spirits of runners participating in the second annual Run for Life. Runners had a choice between a 10k, 5k, or to walk.
The event raises awareness to healthy living and promoting organ donation.
"Just letting people know that as a transplant recipient, you can live a completely healthy and active life," said Amy Harju, an event organizer. "Putting it altogether just seemed like a great way to promote organ donation along with wellness."
This year's event had 350 participants including Beth Deloria, a nationally known runner with foot paralysis.
