A group of Marquette orchestra students will have the chance to perform with an international fiddle group.
Barrage is a high octane performance group that translates classic and contemporary music into violin and fiddle pieces, backed by bass and percussion instruments.
Tuesday's performance in the Kaufman Auditorium features over 150 Marquette High and Middle School students. The group held a workshop with the students early on Tuesday to prepare them for the performance.
"When you're up on the stage with that kind of energy behind you and professional musicians playing, you get an incredible enthusiasm from the standards, and you'll definitely feel it tonight," said Barrage Music Director Dean Marshall.
You can check out Barrage, along with the Marquette Orchestra students, on Tuesday night at the Kaufman Auditorium starting at 7 p.m.
