Since it's finally looking like summer, the Iron Industry Museum in Negaunee is having their annual open house to kick off a string of warm-weather activities.
The open house is this Sunday, May 19, from noon until 4 p.m.
White Water, a local folk band, will play Finnish heritage music. The event is free to the public. All ages are welcome to attend, and refreshments will be available.
"Well, the open house is always a traditional event here at the museum, and it's lots of fun for all ages and family fun. And White Water is a spectacular folk band from the U.P.," said Troy Henderson, a Historian at the Iron Industry Museum.
If you would like more information about the open house, call them anytime between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at (906) 475-7857.
