Eighth graders from Iron Mountain Middle School are camping out at Camp Molinare on Sawyer Lake in Channing.
It's a tradition that's been going on since the early seventies. Students spend their day fishing, hiking, canoeing.
The camp offers students an opportunity to learn more about the outdoors, build relationships with each other, and get away from technology.
"Even though everyone is different there are ways that we can all come together and bond without using technology," says camper Jade Baksic. "Having fun with technology and being active."
A total of 64 students are participating. They'll return home on Thursday.
