An Ishpeming man who was involved in an automobile crash that killed a motorcyclist in July was arraigned Tuesday in Ishpeming District Court.
Rodney Stewart, Jr., 47, plead not guilty to a misdemeanor charge of a moving violation causing death.
He is accused of pulling out of an Ishpeming gas station and into the path of a motorcyclist. The cyclist, Samuel Maata, was killed.
If convicted, Stewart could face up to one year in jail and/or a $2,000 fine.
A pretrial conference is scheduled for August 16.
