The interim superintendent at Ishpeming Public Schools has resigned, citing health reasons.
According to school officials, Dan Paul has announced his resignation from the position of interim superintendent, effective on Monday. The Ishpeming School Board is expected to meet at 5 p.m. on Monday to accept his resignation and appoint an interim superintendent.
Staff members received the news on Friday that Paul would be leaving. The school's business manager, Tony Bertucci, is currently acting as superintendent until the board approves somebody to the position.
