The Isle Royale queen III arrived at it's new port of call Tuesday morning, Marquette. The ship is getting set to take people on cruises starting in late May. The 81 foot long boat has a fresh paint job to go along with its new port of call. They'll have two different cruises available, a two hour trip that goes out to Partridge Island and one that goes out to Black Rocks.
"They can expect to see the beautiful shoreline of their hometown Marquette, a lot of people told us last summer that they never saw Marquette from the shoreline and they were so in awe of how the town looked from the water," said Owner Molly Carmody.
They're also planning special events including live music this summer. The ship holds up to 100 passengers. This is the second year for the cruises. Click here for more information.
