It's that time of year, the Rocky Horror Show is again coming to the Vista Theatre in Negaunee. The Halloween classic is a staple of the Peninsula Arts Appreciation Council's theatre season.
The show's director says a cast, made up of theatre veterans and first timers, will make for a good mix on stage. This year they've decided to give the Rocky Horror show more of a 1950's era style. Even with the wholesomeness of the 1950s, the show's director says it still has the unique, aspects of the show.
"It's a community tradition, it's an open call for everyone who's ever felt a little odd and a little out of place. It's a home for the weirdoes of life, and we can all come and accept each other and just have a great night," said Martha Webster, Director.
There are age restrictions on the show as it does feature adult language and sexual content. The show's run begins October 18. Other performances will be on the Oct. 19, 25, 26, 30 and 31. Tickets are $12, and the show starts at 7 p.m. There will be two midnight shows, one on the 19th and one on the 26th. Tickets for the midnight shows are $15.
