Classic cars took over the back parking lot of the D.J Jacobetti Home For Veterans on Wednesday Afternoon. A group known as the Pasty Crew has been bringing cars to the home for about 20 years for the annual car show. Some of the fan favorites are the Studebaker Fire Truck, the red Ford trucks and the blue Impala. Organizers say members really look forward to the car show every year.
"Our members look forward to it, it's an opportunity for them to reminisce about some cars they may have owned or driven in the past, usually if they didn't own it themselves they know someone who did," Activities Programmer Ken Arseneau said. "It's a good opportunity for them to re-live their past."
About 30 cars were at the show this year and every year there is usually something different for the veterans to check out.
