You don't have to travel to Washington, D.C. to experience a part of the Smithsonian Museum.
The Erickson Center for the Arts in Curtis is hosting a traveling Smithsonian Institution exhibit called Journey Stories.
The exhibit showcases how our ancestors came to America and how the lives of our ancestors have influenced the way we travel today.
"There are a lot of different modes of transportation that are involved in the exhibit, and it's a wonderful way to share some of our American history with our community," said Melissa Ronquist.
The Erickson Center is one of five sites in the state hosting the exhibit. It's expected that over 1000 people will have visited to see the display. The exhibit runs through January 24 and is free to the public.
