      Jury trial set for Marinette shooting suspect

      The suspect involved in a shooting incident in Marinette, WI back in May is set for a jury trial.

      Marinette resident Kenneth J. Davis, age 50, was arrested following a shooting incident that took place on May 22 at 203 Bay Shore Drive in Marinette. Marinette Police were called to the scene around 5:10 p.m. A male victim had been shot in the arm. Davis was arrested shortly after in Porterfield, WI.

      He was charged with attempted first degree intentional homicide, first degree recklessly endangering safety, intimidation of a witness by threat of force, felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of marijuana, second or more offense.

      His jury trial is scheduled to take place January 20 through 26. A status conference has been scheduled for October 13.
