Saturday, kids of all ages were on the hunt for Easter eggs at the Silver Creek Church in Harvey.
A little bit of rain and the snow covered lawn did not keep the kids from searching for the colorful eggs. Even the Easter Bunny stopped by to say hi to all of the kids.
For the past 12 years, the Chocolay Lions Club has been holding their Annual Easter Egg Hunt.
Many of the kids talked about their favorite part of the event.
"I had to find a big field with lots of eggs," said Mackenzie Beck.
"You get to turn them in and get prizes," said Jacey Jacobson.
Some of the younger kids stayed inside and searched through Easter basket grass to collect a few eggs.
Another annual Easter celebration took place at the First Baptist Church in Gwinn Saturday.
It's an afternoon of family-friendly fun for kids three years old through sixth grade.
Children made Easter-themed arts and crafts and had plenty of treats.
It's one of the church's biggest children's events of the year.
Mike Deatrick came with his two sons, John and Jacob, for the first time this year.
"It's fun for the kids. We wanted something to do and get them out with other kids, and the church was a beautiful place to go," said Deatrick.
The day ended with a church-wide egg hunt.
