A new business is kicking off its grand opening by giving back to the community.

Click Cabinets, a company specializing in kitchen design and custom cabinets, is hosting a food drive for the Salvation Army this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Ludington Street. Donated items requested include canned food and hygiene products.

"I thought it was a nice connection between my industry being a kitchen designer and the fact that they need food, especially with the holidays coming up," said Click Cabinets owner, Krysta Starz. "It's really rewarding to know that everyone will have food on their plates for Thanksgiving and knowing that I'm helping doing that."

The other store owners at the location will also be giving away over $1,000 in prizes. Residents will also be able to get tours of lofts in the building.
