Traffic along US-41 in Marquette Township is back to its normal flow.
The intersection at Walmart and Target is open again after days of closure due to a road project. The Marquette County Road Commission replaced the asphalt in the three southbound lanes north of US-41 on County Road HQ. There were deep potholes in the asphalt due to the extreme weather and high volume of traffic
The workers put down nine inches of concrete. The project cost between $110,000 and $120,000.
