Last of 3 fugitives in Detroit drug case captured

Authorities say they've captured the last of three men sought since they didn't appear in a Detroit courtroom to hear the verdict in a major drug trial.

The U.S. Marshals Service says 38-year-old Earnest Proge Jr. was arrested Wednesday in the St. Louis, Missouri, area after a tip he was staying with an acquaintance. Authorities say they used a stun gun to subdue him.

The Associated Press sent a message seeking comment to his lawyer.

Proge and two others were free on bond when they were expected at court May 12. The jury convicted them of charges including drug conspiracy.

Thirty-nine-year-old Carlos Powell was captured June 4 in the St. Louis, Missouri, area and his 36-year-old brother Eric Powell was arrested at the same time near Atlanta, Georgia.
