Let-run order discontinued for Upper Michigan communities

Water customers in Marquette and Forsyth Township are being asked to shut off any running water as the let-run order has been discontinued.

According to the City of Marquette, the let-run has been discontinued for all residents in the city. A let-run order was originally issued for select Marquette residents to help combat incredible cold temperatures and freezing water lines.

Forsyth Township also called off the let-run water customers in the area.

Officials from Marquette say final reads under the let-run program will be taken, and starting with next billing cycle, actual reads will be used for water bills.
