The second presidential debate is now in the history books, and political pundits nationwide, including right here in the Upper Peninsula, are weighing in.
Tuesday night's town hall format allowed voters to directly ask the candidates questions. Romney received a burst of momentum following the first debate earlier this month, but retired political professor Robert Kulisheck says Tuesday night the president came out swinging and delivered a strong performance.
"Well, I think last night the stakes were really high for President Obama, and he managed to make a comeback, and I think that in that debate, he's probably caught up with some of the things he had lost over the last week or so," added Kulisheck. "I think the momentum now is probably moving in his favor."
The third and final presidential debate will be held Monday, October 22. The debate will focus primarily on foreign policy.
