One of the main attractions at Saturday's Flannel Jack Fest in Munising was a logging show.
The Great Lakes Timber Show, based in Escanaba, came to Munising to give people a 30-minute demonstration of logging activities. The show featured ax throwing, a sawing competition, and log rolling.
"It's something that's unique. People all around the country don't get to see it on TV, so we try to bring it to them live," said Missy Sundholm of the Great Lakes Timber Show.
Unfortunately due to high winds and rough waves, the log rolling demonstration was cut short, and volunteers weren't able to try it out. But by the sounds of the cheers, everyone seemed to be having a good time.
