A logging truck caught fire while traveling on US-2 near M-35 on Friday just after 2 p.m.
The Gladstone Public Safety and Volunteer Fire Department said the driver noticed the flames and immediately pulled over to call 911. There were no injuries caused during the fire.
Once firefighters put out the flames, the truck was moved off of the highway and parked at a local business in order for firefighters to make sure the fire was completely out.
US-2 had to be shut down and traffic was rerouted for 20 minutes. The cause of the fire is unknown.
