The Michigan State Police responded to a kayaker that had become lost during an outing on the Baltimore River, east of US-45 in Ontonagon County on Sunday night.
The MSP received a call at around 2:48 a.m. on Monday morning from a 52-year-old Ontonagon man that had become lost after falling out of his kayak. According to police, the man was able to make it to shore and took shelter in an abandoned deer blind, building a fire to keep himself warm.
