      "Made in Marquette" expands

Building on the success of the "Made in Marquette" display, Marquette City Hall is expanding to include more than just art.

City Hall is aiming to highlight all goods and services produced within the city.

The City Manager's Office believes that many folks will enjoy seeing more than just art.

"We kind of wanted to try to expand that beyond art because there's a lot of great stuff happening in Marquette, there's a lot of people making a lot of really neat things and we wanted to offer a space in city hall for some of that stuff to be displayed," said Kyle Whitney, Assistant City Manager of Marquette.

Businesses can get their items displayed in city hall free of charge. However, it is on a first come, first serve basis.

If you are interested in seeing your businesses products on display, an application is available in the City Manager's Office email Assistant City Manager, Kyle Whitney at kwhitney@mqtcty.org.
