Man accused of killing ex-girlfriend enters plea

55 year old Richard Heyer plead no contest Friday, to killing his ex-girlfriend at the Wausaukee Citgo station last August where she worked.

The plea was entered Marinette County Court. Heyer plead no contest to one count of first degree intentional homicide. He'll be sentenced July 2nd.

Heyer was accused of killing 51-year-old Ann Schueller as she worked at a Citgo station. Heyer also shot himself, but survived.

Court records showed the pair lived together outside of Crivitz until the end of 2011. Schueller had requested a restraining order against Heyer in June, claiming he was abusive and that she feared for her safety.

A judge denied the request because there wasn't enough evidence of a threat.
