The 65-year-old Ewen man arrested after a domestic assault against his wife has been arraigned in court.
Wayne Emory Kilpatrick has been charged with felonious assault and domestic violence. Michigan State Police troopers were called out to the domestic disturbance incident shortly after 3 p.m. on Monday afternoon.
Kilpatrick allegedly pointed a handgun at his wife during the dispute, according to authorities. The police investigation resulted in troopers recovering a handgun and other weapons.
Bond has been set at $100,000 on the assault charge and 10 percent of $5,000 on the domestic violence charge.
Kilpatrick remains lodged in the Ontonagon County Jail.
