A 20-year-old man has been arrested on charges of operating while intoxicated after police say he was responsible for a four-vehicle crash last Friday.
According to Dickinson County Sheriff Scott Celello, Jeffery Steele was traveling on highway 141 near the Niagara Bridge when his vehicle crossed the center line, side swiped one vehicle and collided head on with a second vehicle.
The sheriff's department reported that driver of one vehicle had to be extricated, and two people were sent to Dickinson County Memorial Hospital to be treated for injuries.
Steele was later arrested for operating while intoxicated, causing series injury and he was lodged at the Dickinson County Correctional Center.
Police are still investigating the crash.
