The Ishpeming Police Department has arrested a suspect that they believe broke into the Huron Mountain Bakery on March 7.
Police say that 30-year-old Charles Raymond Elvetici of Negaunee was arrested on Monday after a six-week investigation. Elvetici is charged with breaking and entering a building with intent. This is a felony, punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
The Ishpeming police executed a search warrant on March 9, seizing possible evidence of the break-in.
Elvetici was then arrested at the Marquette County Jail, where he was being held on an unrelated incident. He was arraigned in court on Tuesday morning, and his bond was set at 10 percent of $25,000. He will be back in court on May 6 at 3:15 p.m.
