The 32-year-old man that led police on a high speed chase at speeds of 146 miles an hour was charged on Monday.
Karl Dresch is facing three charges including fleeing from police and driving while intoxicated, according to officials. The Crawfordville, Georgia man was arrested on Friday after being chased by police.
Police say that Dresch was traveling north on CTH N when a Florence County deputy clocked a vehicle going 75 in a 55 mph zone. As the deputy tried to stop the vehicle, he sped away.
He stopped the vehicle voluntarily after traveling at speeds of 146 miles an hour.
Dresch was arraigned in court on Monday, and his bond has been set at $5,000. He entered a not guilty plea in court, and is expected to return on June 19.
