A Shingleton man continues to recover after a traffic crash late Wednesday afternoon. The incident happened on US-41 in Marquette Township at the NAPA Auto Parts Store. According to the Marquette County Sheriff's Department, 22-year-old Brad Robinson of Shingleton was eastbound when his Mustang went through the grassy median, across the westbound lanes, and crashed into a dumpster in the NAPA Auto Parts parking lot. The dumpster was thrown about 50 feet.
Robinson suffered non-life threatening injuries and was treated and released from Marquette General Hospital. Witnesses of the crash told police they believe Robinson suffered some sort of seizure, which caused him to lose control of the car. The car received extensive damage.
Marquette County Sheriff's Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Marquette Township Fire Department and Marquette General EMS.
