A 21-year-old Bark River man is dead after a motorcycle crash that happened on Saturday night.
According to the Dickinson County Sheriff's Department, Riley Klee was pronounced dead at the scene of a crash on M-69 near Quarry Road in Felch Township.
Police say that the motorcycle, a 2012 Honda CBR1000, was traveling north on M-69 when Klee lost control and struck a guardrail. After colliding with the guardrail, the motorcycle became airborne, ejecting both Klee and a passenger.
The passenger on the motorcycle was taken to Dickinson County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The sheriff's department believes that alcohol and speed were factors in the crash. They also say that Klee and his passenger were not wearing helmets. The crash remains under investigation.
