A high-speed chase suspect facing stalking charges has made a plea bargain and is scheduled for sentencing at the end of August.
27-year-old Travis Kuopus pled guilty to fleeing police and attempted stalking. He had his other charges of aggravated stalking and two counts of assaulting police dismissed.
Kuopus was arrested in April after a report of a domestic dispute in Houghton, which then led to a high speed chase by Houghton Police.
His sentencing is scheduled for August 27. Kuopus remains in the Houghton County Jail.
