The Iron Mountain man that had the first case against him end in a mistrial was tried again in Dickinson County Circuit Court and faced sentencing on Monday.
Twenty-six-year-old Jacob Harvala was charged with three counts of criminal sexual conduct third degree involving a 15-year-old girl.
Harvala received a minimum of two years, maximum of three years in prison on Monday during his sentencing. He was given credit for 310 days served.
The original trial against Harvala in March ended with a hung jury and a mistrial.
