The Norway man who stabbed a deputy sheriff at the 2013 Pine Mountain ski jumps was sentenced Monday in Dickinson County Circuit Court.
75-year-old Andrew Bray faced one count of intent to cause bodily harm less than murder.
On that count he was sentenced to 23 months minimum to 10 years maximum with a credit of 492 days served.
He also faced one count of carrying a concealed weapon. For that he received a sentence of 23 months minimum to five years maximum.
In court Monday, the victim of the incident spoke about the psychological effect the stabbing had on him.
The sentences will run concurrent.
