This year's Harbor Fest at Marquette's Mattson Lower Harbor Park came to a bit of a soggy end.
Most of the attractions such as bouncehouses and a fishing contest were rendered unavailable due to the weather.
But the few attendants that braved the storm were resolved to enjoy what the fair had left to offer, even if it meant getting wet.
"It says a lot about us up here in the U.P. And that's a risk we take. Sometimes, having a festival towards the end of August, we got that unpredictably of the weather." said Harbor Fest Entertainment Chair Patrick Thomson.
Though the sun wouldn"t come out for hours afterwards, participants enjoyed live music and a car show at the event from the safety of their umbrellas.
