The Marquette Kennel Club concluded its third and final day of dog shows at its new location at the Marquette County Fairgrounds.
For the third day, dogs and their handlers competed to win awards in different activity groups such as sporting groups, and from there the winners of the groups competed for the Best in Show award.
At least one handler was pleased with the new location.
"It's very friendly. I really do like this. It seems like the grounds were open. We had more spectators at the last place just by location, I'll give it that. But this was quite nice." said handler Beth Johnson who won various awards with her golden retriever 'Brody'.
The Kennel Club is planning on having future shows at the fairgrounds for the forseeable future.
