A 24-year-old Marquette man has been arraigned on charges involving human trafficking, according to the Marquette City Police Department.
Aaron Max Wesolek was taken into custody on Friday following an investigation into an incident which allegedly took place on April 21. Police responded to allegations that Wesolek sexually assaulted a 14-year-old victim in his Marquette apartment.
According to police, Wesolek has met the alleged victim on the internet and took her to his apartment. He is being charged with human trafficking - recruiting a minor for child sexually abusive activity, criminal sexual conduct third degree, using computers to commit a crime and accosting a child for immoral purposes.
Wesolek is being held in the Marquette County Jail on $115,000 bond.
